"No, I'm pretty sure I did."
"I say it all the time. I swear I say it ninety percent of the time!"
"That's not true."
"You're just saying that because you're mad at me and don't want to."
"No I'm not."
"Yes you are. Besides, I think you need to say it. You need the spirit."
"Fine."
(Followed by a quick, generic prayer)
Ha ha! That made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteSomeone taught me once that whenever I was asked to pray, I should say a sincere thank you because it was such a privilege to pray to Heavenly Father. In this case, I might have said, Thank you, and then prayed that my spouse would want to pray more. :)
