  1. I loved your story! Congratulations from all us in the Philippines and she is so cute and so chubby. I think chubby babies are definitely the cutest. The pic of your three cuties is beautiful. I heart her. Can't wait to meet her!

  2. Your story made my eyes well up with tears. I believe that you are right - angels attend the birth of a new baby. We know that spirits gather when we die, loved ones who come to greet us and take us into the spirit world. But I am sure that angels come to say goodbye as well. I am also sure that they said to Afton, "Don't worry. Sarah and Brad - they will teach you the gospel and love you and provide for you. You are going to have a wonderful life."

  3. Oh, she is perfect! I am so happy for you and your family, and that all went well with the labor and delivery. Hope your recovery is going well -- wish I was there to bring you a meal, but I'm sending hugs and happy thoughts your way! Love ya!

  4. I love it! I had a similar experience when I was in labor with Brynlee, we got to the hospital and nobody believed I had been contracting all morning because I was still talking and laughing, etc... Then they checked me and I got to skip the line of 5 other moms and go have my baby! It's great, there's definitely nothing like bringing one of these fresh baby's into the world, especially at this time of the year. If you need ANYTHING, let me know.

  5. Your birth story is great. Thanks for sharing. Waterbirths are so amazing and midwives are just incredible. It must be a different law in canada because here you have to have your water broken before getting in the tub in case there is meconium. If there is, you can't birth in the water.
Well done, superwoman! Naturual birth is so empowering. Share your story with as many women so that maybe we as women will no longer fear childbirth but embrace it and completely trust in the bodies that God designed perfectly for such an experience.

She is adorable. Good job, sweetie.
